Overview
The makers of Zerotox claim that this product can help reduce the length and density of wrinkles and erase fine lines, which seems like a fairly common claim among skincare formulas. The AntiAging-Reviews.com were initially concerned, however, since the distributor of Zerotox also offers many other products that seem to have nothing to do with skincare, including hardware, automotive products and houseware. Thus, we were a bit skeptical that the company may not have enough expertise to justify using the Zerotox formula.
Featured Ingredients
Zerotox apparently relies on an ingredient combination that they call Rolga Amino Acid Complex. Amino acids are important molecules that help manage the production of proteins in the body. Thus, they are necessary to sustain life. The Rolga Amino Acid Complex contains eight specific amino acids that have been shown to regulate various cellular functions in the body. Although Zerotox claims that these amino acids can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, it is not clear how these ingredients accomplish this feat, since the company does not post enough convincing research.
Zerotox also contains a blend of two specific botanical oils (Sunflower oil and Grapeseed oil), which are included in order to provide antioxidant protection and help the skin to resist further damage. Also Grape Seed is a known antioxidant that is well proven to be several times more powerful than many commonly used vitamins, the research for Sunflower oil is less than impressive, thus making this combination seem incomplete. It seems to us that it would have made more sense to combine Grapeseed oil with Green Tea and White Tea extracts, which seem to have a bolstering effect that give the skin the best chance to resist damage and wrinkle formation.
Web Site Description
As mentioned earlier, the AntiAging-Reviews.com research team was concerned that the makers of Zerotox also sell products that have nothing to do with skincare. Judging from the Zerotox formula and its less-than-impressive profile, it seems the company may be in over its heads. The web site also has some technical difficulties. When you click on “Articles of Interest,” the web site just takes you to other skincare products, rather than pointing in the direction of clinical research. In addition, the company’s Policy page does not seem to work, which also concerns us.
Positives
- Uses Grapeseed, a proven antioxidant
Negatives
- No scientific evidence that Rolga Amino Acid Complex can reduce wrinkles
- No free trial offered
- No customer testimonials posted
Conclusion
We began our review of Zerotox already in a skeptical mood, which only got worse the further we looked into the product. It seems to us that the makers of the product truly did not take the time to construct a formula that could offer realistic benefits to the consumer, and only seem to be interested in making money - including money from its non-skincare related products. We recommend that you avoid Zerotox.
