Overview
Preventin-AT is a formula designed to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and currently is being offered at one of the lowest prices for a product in this category, at $29.95. While this price might be appealing to some customers, the AntiAging-Reviews.com research team has found that many such products tend to also be cheap in results. That’s why we decided to analyze Preventin AT further.
Featured Ingredients
Upon further analysis, we found that Preventin-AT consists mainly of cleansing agents and emollients, which are supposed to soothe the skin. Even though the company claims that Preventin-AT will have an effect on wrinkles, none of the ingredients would normally cause such reduction.
Cetyl Alcohol is a cleanser that is listed as one of the first ingredients in the Preventin-AT formula. While it is a powerful astringent that wipes away dirt and grime from the skin, it has been found to be too harsh, so much so that it can dry the skin after regular use. Perhaps that is why Preventin-AT contains Cucumber extract, in the hopes of balancing out the effects of Cetyl Alcohol and the other harsh cleansers in the formula. Cucumber does have a soothing effect on the skin and helps reduce inflammation.
But the biggest concern is that Preventin-AT does not contain any of the proven anti-wrinkle ingredients found in the best products, including Glucosamine Complex, Regenex, Lifting Spheres or Hyaluronic Acid. These ingredients, when combined into one formula, help reduce wrinkles, boost collagen production and hold moisture in the skin to protect it from future wrinkles. Unfortunately, Preventin-AT does not contain any of these compounds.
Web Site Description
The web site for Preventin-AT contains very little information about the product, other than listing its ingredients and claiming to reduce wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. There is no research to support these claims, and considering that Preventin-AT contains mostly cleansers, we’re not surprised. In addition, the web site does not feature any testimonials from customers who have used the product.
Positives
- Cleansing ingredients will probably clean skin
Negatives
- Overuse can lead to dry and irritated skin
- No collagen boosters or moisture-retention nutrients
- No risk-free trial or customer testimonials
Conclusion
Even though Preventin-AT claims to help reduce wrinkles and other signs of skin aging, there is nothing in the formula that convinces the AntiAging-Reviews.com research team that the product can produce this effect. For these reasons, we cannot recommend this formula at this time.
