Biotox contains Marine Collagen, which is derived most likely from shellfish or plant sources from the ocean (such as seaweed). While the natural choice deserves some praise, rather than relying on synthetic ingredients, we question any product that claims to deliver collagen to the skin. To our knowledge, this feat is accomplished only through injection, since whole collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the outer layers of skin. In contrast, it makes more sense to stimulate the skin to produce more of its own collagen through such powerful ingredients as Glucosamine Complex.

 Biotox also contains Argireline, an amino acid that is supposed to relax facial muscles in the hopes of counteracting the contractions that can cause wrinkles to become deeper. However, clinical tests suggest that it requires 15 days of constant use (as much as 3 times a day) to reduce wrinkles by 60%. There may be other compounds, such as Regenex and Glucosamine Complex, which actually may produce better results in a shorter amount of time.  

In addition, it is puzzling why Biotox includes Cranberry Extract. While cranberry is a powerful antioxidant that can have protective effects on the urinary tract - and it does enhance the immune system’s ability to resist illness - there is no evidence showing that it can promote younger-looking skin.
