Overview
Although this company is relatively new, it does seem to claim that its products are based on an age-old discovery made by a French biologist, who accidentally discovered an ingredient called Vitreoscilla Ferment. Even though the researchers at AntiAging-Reviews.com had never heard about such an ingredient, and were skeptical of the fact that Biotherm does not name the scientist or give more research details, we nonetheless tried to keep an open mind when reviewing their Source Therapie anti-aging formulas.
Featured Ingredients
One of the things that bothered us is that - aside from a fanciful story about Vitreoscilla Ferment - Biotherm does not specifically list the ingredients of its anti-wrinkle products. Even though the company’s Peel Lotion Daily Wrinkle Reducer claims to stimulate cellular renewal after exfoliation so that old skin can be replace with new, wrinkle-free skin, there is no information available on which ingredients achieve this effect. Likewise, the Biotherm Superactiv Concentrated Skin Perfect Serum supposedly makes the skin radiant and resistant to the visible effects of premature skin aging within 5 days, but we cannot determine a full ingredient list for the formula. The only thing known about Vitreoscilla Ferment, on the other hand, is that the French biologist apparently found that this comes from mineral-rich springs high up in the French Alps. While that may make a nice story, it seems like a marketing ploy. We would prefer hard science instead.
Web Site Description
Even though the site does not contain any serious violations of disclosure, the AntiAging-Reviews.com team is disturbed by the lack of information on the site. It is not clear if the product can be tried for free, there are no customer testimonials, but worst of all, the company does not even go into a full description about the featured ingredient of its products - Vitreoscilla Ferment. That concerns us.
Positives
- Site has a questionnaire that visitors can fill out to determine their skin type
Negatives
- No ingredients listed
- No research on featured ingredient Vitreoscilla Ferment
- No testimonials or free trial option
Conclusion
While the impression that Biotherm gives is that of a refined and luxury spa-like treatment for the skin, the facts - or the lack of facts we should say - speak for themselves. If consumers are truly looking for formula that will foster skin renewal and reduce wrinkles and lines - while also preventing the development of future wrinkles - the AntiAging-Reviews.com team instead recommends finding a formula including Glucosamine Complex, Lifting Spheres and/or Regenex. You might not get a story, but you’ll probably notice fewer wrinkles and lines by using these proven ingredients.
