Overview

DermaFreeze365 is manufactured and distributed by Woodridge Labs, which offers an extensive line of products for many types of skin problems, including wrinkles, dark circles, stretch marks, sun spots, as well as natural chemical peels and microdermabrasion. While the number of products is impressive, the researchers at AntiAging-Reviews.com know that sometimes a company will come out with dozens of products to cover up for the fact that its formulas are actually less-than-effective, hoping that the consumer will be tricked by the overwhelming number of choices.

Specifically, the AntiAging-Reviews.com team became concerned with DermaFreeze365, since the company claims that this formula can reduce fine lines and wrinkles by 90% in only 10 minutes. This is quite a strong claim, one that usually only the most harsh and toxic injections (like Botox) can produce. For these reasons, our team decided to investigate DermaFreeze365.

Featured Ingredients

DermaFreeze365 apparently works because of its combination of two ingredient compounds - GABA and Biox. While GABA is a known neurotransmitter that seems to have a relaxing effect on facial muscles, which could result in a smoothing of the skin and diminished appearance of wrinkles, Woodridge Labs does not specify what Biox is. This is concerning, since the AntiAging-Reviews.com team does not have a basis to review this formula. It is disturbing to think that consumers may be using a product that contains an ingredient like Biox and not know what they are putting on their skin. It could have toxic side effects and cause irritation or allergic reactions. Or it could simply do nothing and be a clever marketing ploy.

GABA, even though it is a neurotransmitter naturally produced by the body, does not seem to have a lot of consistent research behind it for use on the skin. Apparently, most of the research that has been done on its ability to reduce wrinkles was conducted in controlled laboratory studies, in which patients had GABA injected into their face. So DermaFreeze365’s claim that GABA delivered topically can cause near instant results seems baseless to us.

Web Site Description

The Woodridge Labs web site is actually quite simple and straight forward. It presents the products in a clear way that’s easy to navigate. Prices are clearly stated and the ordering system seems smooth. Our only complaint is that the web site, while it does a good job of touting the formula’s claims, does not seem to have enough scientific research, especially with regard to Biox and its supposed 10-minute effect. We’d like to see some proof before recommending this formula.

Positives

- Web site is clear and easy to navigate - ordering is a simple process.

 Negatives

- Use of GABA topically has not been established

- No specific information about what Biox is or what it does

- Web site contains testimonials, but no before and after photos

Conclusion

Unfortunately, our initial concerns about DermaFreeze365 did not diminish after researching the product further. While the product makes wild claims about an instant effect, we have no basis for judging whether these claims are founded on science or whether they are clever marketing efforts design to elicit orders. At this time, AntiAging-Reviews.com cannot recommend DermaFreeze365 until more research becomes available.

Overview

The researchers at AntiAging-Reviews.com were very skeptical when first asked to review this product. Manufactured by Irwin Naturals - a vitamin company - at times it seems as if Wrinkle Cure is no longer for sale, only to reappear again on the company’s web site and other materials. Irwin Naturals is headed by Klee Irwin, who has gained a certain degree of fame for promoting his Dual Action Cleanse colon cleansing product on late-night infomercials. This leads us to wonder whether Mr. Irwin, or any other person within his company, knows enough about skincare to put forth an effective anti-wrinkle treatment.

Featured Ingredients

Wrinkle Cure consists of two products that rely on a mixture of Vitamin C and Glycolic Acid, both of which seem weak and outdated choices for battling wrinkles and fine lines. Perhaps this is why the product has been discontinued, sold again and discontinued once again, signaling that the company may not be able to clear inventory. Although Vitamin C does seem to offer some protection against wrinkles, it may take up to 8 weeks to see any noticeable effect.

Prior to 1992, Glycolic Acid was available only by prescription from a doctor, because it was such a strong alpha-hydroxy acid ingredient and could cause severe irritation and peeling. Research has since questioned the use of this ingredient because of the risk of side effects, and the long-term effects are still not conclusive.

Web Site Description

The web site for Irwin Naturals seems incomplete. Most of the emphasis is placed on the company’s vitamin products. There is very little, if any, information available about Wrinkle Cure. In addition, it is not clear whether this product can be ordered online or must be found at one of the health food stores that sell Irwin Naturals products. The site does not contain any customer testimonials or ingredient information.

Positives

- None

 Negatives

- Use of outdated and potentially harmful ingredients

- Information on the product is hard to come by

- Web site is incomplete - customer may not be able to find formula

- No Before/After photos

Conclusion

Considering the lack of information that Irwin Naturals publishes about Wrinkle Cure - and the fact that we cannot be sure if it is still being sold - the AntiAging-Reviews.com team cannot recommend this product. In addition, during our research, we spoke to an employee of the company who revealed that the before/after pictures placed on the product packaging are fake. This is a serious violation that should convince any reasonable person to avoid this product.

Overview

Even though the founders obviously put a lot of time and effort into giving Solange a European-sounding name, this product actually is manufactured and distributed in the United States. Of course, that doesn’t necessary mean that Solange doesn’t work, but the researchers at AntiAging-Reviews.com wanted to give this formula a closer look and determine whether or not this product actually - as its name suggests - acts like angel’s wings to protect the skin from aging.

Featured Ingredients

The makers of Solange repeatedly refer to the philosophy behind this formula as “collagen care.” One would assume, then, that Solange would probably contain proven collagen boosters like Regenex, Glucosamine Complex and Hyaluronic Acid. Unfortunately, Solange contains none of these. Most of the formula consists of vitamins like Vitamin A, C and E, which all have been shown to have a protective effect on the skin and shield it from sun exposure and other sources of free radicals. But usually one has to wait at least 8 weeks or longer to notice any such difference.  Solange’s only collagen-boosting effect seems to come from the inclusion of copper peptides. Copper, in limited scientific studies, has been shown to slightly encourage collagen and elastin. But these studies are not conclusive, and copper seems much weaker than other known collagen boosters. In addition, research suggests that excessive use of copper on the skin may actually weaken collagen and elastin levels

Web Site Description

After reviewing the web site, it is clear that Solange does offer products other than its Collagen Crème, but not much is known about these products. Information is a bit scant, but Solange does seem to offer some intriguing moisturizers, which may require further research. Collagen Crème is offered at $40 a bottle, which seems high considering that the formula is nothing more than vitamins and copper peptides. In addition, Solange does not offer customers the opportunity to try the formula for free before deciding to pay full price.

Positives

- Some use of known protective vitamins

 Negatives

- Use of copper is questionable and may be harmful

- No free trial

- Price seems high for such a weak formula

Conclusion

While Solange does indeed sound fancy, the product itself fails to live up to expectations, especially when compared head-to-head against other, more powerful collagen boosters. The use of copper peptides seems outdated and overuse could in fact detract from healthy skin more than helping it. At this time, we cannot recommend Solange.

Overview

Reviva actually has a long history in the cosmetic field, offering creams and lotions since 1973. Given this impressive history, AntiAging-Reviews.com researchers expected that Reviva’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream would live up to the company’s reputation. Unfortunately, our team found that there was very little information available about this product, including its featured ingredients.

Featured Ingredients

Unless one actually purchases Reviva’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream, it is nearly impossible to find out what the active ingredients of this formula are. In addition, it is difficult to determine how this formula is supposed to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. A look at the product label does reveal that Anti-Wrinkle Cream contains Palmitoyl Peptide 3, which is a protein precursor that theoretically can support collagen, in addition to DMAE, a known brain neurotransmitter. Although both ingredients do have some research behind them, most of the science has been conducted on ingestible forms of these compounds. It would be nice to see research discussing their effect on the skin, specifically how these two ingredients are supposed to work against wrinkles and fine lines. Reviva does not make any such research available, suggesting that customers are supposed to find out the information for themselves.

Web Site Description

The Reviva web site seems to be set up primarily to present the products in a favorable light, but unfortunately it does not include specific information about the products or their ingredients. In addition, we could not find any customer testimonials, and Anti-Wrinkle Cream seems to be available only through retail outlets, which means most consumers may have to pay more than they should.

Positives

- Company does have history of good moisturizers - Anti-Wrinkle Cream may at least soften skin

 Negatives

- Complete formula is not indicated

- No research available for active ingredients’ effects on skin

- No customer testimonials

- Product seems to be available by retail only

Conclusion

At this time, we cannot recommend Reviva Labs’ Anti-Wrinkle Cream, even though the company does have a long history of producing some popular moisturizers. Scientific information about the ingredients is not readily available, and thus AntiAging-Reviews.com suggests that consumers look for other anti-wrinkle formulas, especially those containing Regenex and Hyaluronic acid, instead.
